Flames and Savard agree to part ways

The Calgary Flames announced today that the club and assistant coach Marc Savard have agreed to part ways.

“We want to thank Mark for his commitment last season, as well as his professionalism in reaching today's decision,” said Flames general manager Craig Conroy. “We wish Mark all the best for his future in the game.”
