Two students have been selected for a new pilot project that hopes to tackle the rental crisis and loneliness. As part of the Canadian Alliance for Intergenerational Living project, students will move into the Silvera building for seniors. The rental fee is only $1,000 and 30 hours of volunteer time per month and all their meals are provided. Today they were introduced to the elderly in the institution.
