Calgary police have released a photo of a man who was hit in Bridgeland

Calgary police have released a photo of a man they say was involved in a hit-and-run that allegedly ran over a pedestrian twice in Bridgeland.

The collision occurred on Saturday, April 27 at 2:45 PM in the Centex parking lot in the 0-100 block of Fourth Street NE.

Police believe that a light-colored minivan pulled out of the parking lot while the male pedestrian fell and was parked, then drove forward and turned north.

“As the minivan pulled forward, the front passenger side of the vehicle overturned the pedestrian,” the police report said.

“The minivan stopped and the driver opened the door and looked around and under his car. He then closed the door, stepped on the walker with the rear wheels and pulled forward.'

According to the investigators, the driver of the minivan did not know the pedestrian before the collision. Police are investigating the driver's impairment as the cause of the accident.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police previously released a photo of an older model silver Honda Odyssey, and on Wednesday a photo of the suspect.
