Monster Jam's giant trucks are coming back to Calgary this summer

Monster trucks are always cool, no matter how old or young we are. That's why we're excited to bring Monster Jam back to Calgary this summer.

The adrenaline-charged Monster Truck Rally takes over GMC Stadium on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th.

Support the world champion racers and their 12,000 pound trucks as they rip dirt to the racing championship. Fans can even get up close to the giant machines.

This major event began in 1992 and is sanctioned under the umbrella of the United States Hot Rod Association.

Monster trucks are capable of racing in reverse, vertical two-wheeling skills and speeds of over 100 km/h under the guidance of experienced drivers. Drivers are limited to driving during freestyle, skills and rally events.

The truck and driver list will be announced closer to the show date, so you can see some of your favorites like Grave Digger, Monster Mutt or ThunderROARus coming to Calgary.

Before the events, check out the Pit Party experience, where fans can see the monster trucks up close, meet the drivers and crew, and enjoy other family-friendly activities.

Younger fans will want to explore the Sand Box playground, see the UNOH tire display, and visit the paint and temporary tattoo station.
