Calgary police and others will host a community event at the Chinook Centre

If you're in the area on Wednesday, Calgary Police and other agencies will be at the Chinook Center waiting for a cup of coffee to chat about safety and crime prevention.

Coffee in Indian Wear is back, joined by representatives from Calgary Law, Calgary Transit, Alpha House and Calgary Crime Stoppers.

The goal of the event is to “bring you and your community staff together,” CPS promotional materials say.

This time they will be set up at the Starbucks on the top floor of the mall in Chinook Center, southwest of the city, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
