A boil water alert has been issued for the RM of Gimli

A boil water advisory has ended for Gimli RM.

The advisory was put in place on May 18, 2024, after the rural municipality claimed there was a pump failure causing a loss of water pressure in the distribution system.

In a letter to the RM, Manitoba Health said the system met all required conditions and the bacteriological test results met regulatory standards, meaning the boil water advisory can be ended.

The advisory was lifted just after 2 p.m. Monday
