Runners travel for free on race day: City of Calgary

Next Sunday morning, Calgary Transit will be free for riders.

Run Calgary announced on Sunday that it is partnering with the city and Calgary Transit to offer free all-day rides to the Stampede grounds on Sunday, May 26, to anyone dressed as a runner.

For runners who want to know what time they can catch the train to get to Erlton LRT station in time for the race, Calgary Transit will have a booth at the Runner's Expo to confirm transit times.

For those who drive, there will be “very limited” paid parking available at Stampede Park next Sunday for $18, but this is offered as a last resort.
