The Calgary Flames announced on Sunday that they have agreed to a new contract with forward Andrew Manjiapane.

The two sides agreed to a one-year, two-way deal worth $715,000.

Mangiapane appeared in all five postseason games for the Flames last spring and added one goal in the playoffs. The 23-year-old, who had eight goals and 13 points in 44 games, appeared late in the season for Calgary. In his last 10 regular season games, the former Barry Colt has 6 points.

The 2015 sixth-round pick is already in Calgary, According to Kristen Anderson of the Calgary Sun. He also reportedly will begin skating with the team on Tuesday.

If he can build on his strong finish to the 2018-19 season, Mangiapane should be in the club's bottom 6 next year.
