Firefighters will be returning home soon

WINNIPEG – The Manitoba government says residents who were evacuated in and around Cranberry Portage due to the wildfires could return home by Sunday morning.

The province says the closest fire line to the community is now under control.

A few properties were damaged by the fire.

Six water bombers and seven helicopters are assisting in the interception operation.
