Sex offender expected to live in Winnipeg – Winnipeg Free Press

Police are advising the public to release a sex offender.

Harry Edwards Jr., 45, is considered to be at high risk of re-offending, Manitoba's Integrated High-Risk Sex Offender Unit – a joint force of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP – said in a news release Friday. He is also known as Brandyn Edwards, Gary Tate, Harry Crasswell and Harry Crasweller.

Edwards Jr. was released from Stony Mountain Institution and was expected to live in Winnipeg after serving time for being unlawfully at large.

“All women, both adults and children, are at risk of sexual violence,” the report said.

“This information is provided to enable members of the public to take appropriate measures to protect themselves. Any form of harassment or other unwarranted behavior directed at Mr. Edwards will not be tolerated.”
