Calgary Stampede fans are gearing up for the official opening of the new facility.

The $44 million Sam Center will feature interactive exhibits, displays and artifacts from the history of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.

The grand project took 13 years to complete, and the center will open its doors on May 29.
