Man dies after being hit on Memorial Drive

A man was killed in a hit-and-run in the southeast early Saturday morning, and Calgary police closed roads in the area to investigate.

CityNews was told the incident happened around 12:20 a.m. at Memorial Drive and 47th Street.

At the scene, they found the dead body of an adult man.

No arrests have been made, and the vehicles involved in the collision have not been identified.

Officers are expected to close 44-52 Memorial Drive for the next two hours while they investigate.
