Alex Antoneshin CTV News

Alex Antoneshin is a digital journalist based in Edmonton.

Alex earned a journalism degree from the University of Regina and joined CTV Two's Alberta Primetime team in 2017 as a reporter and producer in Calgary.

A year later, he moved north to work on the editorial staff of CTV News Edmonton. In 2019, his role expanded to CTV News Calgary.

Alex speaks English and has extensive experience writing everything from breaking news to highlights.

He likes to go on day trips to the mountains. But don't ask him to weigh in on the Alberta battle: Having lived in both cities, he knows Edmonton and Calgary are equally great, and as a Saskatchewan, the stakes aren't the same.
