A website selling tickets to the controversial Alberta UCP town hall has canceled the event.

Eventbrite was offering tickets on Monday Truth injectionParty meeting chaired by Calgary-Lloyd MP Eric Bouchard.

As of Thursday morning, the ticket seller's URL for the event returned an error.

However, the event is still going on, according to the official UCP website, which now has a separate link for ticket sales.

CTV News found that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario confirmed that Speicher is not a doctor, Payne filed a lawsuit against AHS over mandatory vaccinations, and Makis' license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta was revoked in 2019. , Shoemaker retired from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in 2023, Rose is an “independent researcher” and Bridle is a veterinarian in Ontario.

After CTV News broke the story on Monday, Alberta Health Services (AHS) contacted UCP and asked them to remove the reference to Makis as an “Edmonton ER doctor.”

“He's certainly not an Edmonton ER doctor,” AHS spokesperson Kerry Williamson said.

“You'd have to contact the College of Physicians and Surgeons, but I'm pretty sure he's not currently licensed as a doctor.

“He hasn't had the benefits of AHS in years.”

Makis is now a “radiation oncologist” on the party's list.
