Three Hills RCMP are looking for an armed suspect for attempted murder

The mountains north of Calgary are searching for a man wanted for conspiracy to commit murder and consider him armed and dangerous.

Chad Wickett, 31, of Red Deer is accused of going to a Three Hills home with another man last week and threatening the resident.

RCMP say on the afternoon of May 4, one of the men was armed with a gun and one of them told the woman who lived in the home that he was there to kill her.

According to police, the victim convinced the men not to harm him and they took his cell phone and left.

Wickett was charged with murder, use of a weapon and conspiracy to fail to comply with a release order.

Police say if you see him, don't approach him.

Instead, call 911, Three Hills RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Another suspect. Chris Tremblay, 45, of Red Deer, was arrested.
