The Hamilton Stars will be wearing white hats by Tourism Calgary

The musical is a hip-hop history lesson about the creation of the Declaration of Independence, which became a cultural phenomenon. It seemed only fitting that Wednesday's show celebrating the White House's origin story marked the occasion with a few white hats.

Hamilton Cast members Julius Thomas and Donald Webber were thrilled to say their vows before showtime in the Tony Award-winning Jubilee Auditorium on Wednesday. Hamilton opened for extended work this week.

The duo received a white hat from Calgary tourist Cindy Hood, where Webber, who plays Aaron Burr on the show, said, “We're so honored and excited to be honored Calgarians. See us at the South Jubilee Auditorium.”

Wednesday's performance marked the anniversary of Canada's long-awaited return to Broadway in 2020 since the pandemic began.

Hamilton Jube Day runs until July 30.
