The Calgary Roughnecks beat the Vancouver Warriors 14-7

Tanner Cook scored three straight goals in the first half as the Calgary Roughnecks took an early lead and then hung on late to beat the Warriors 14-7 on Friday night.

Jesse King opened the scoring and then added another, followed by two from Josh Currier, another from Hayden Dixon, three straight from Cook in the second quarter and singles from Josh Currier and Jeff Cornwall to give the Roughnecks. a steady 10-4 lead at the break.

Cook scored her fourth goal of the night and King her third to give the Roughnecks a 12-6 lead heading into the final frame.

Shane Simpson added a single and Cook collected his fifth of the night to give the Roughnecks a 14-7 win.

Christian Del Bianco stopped 48 shots and the Bruins won.

Next up for the Roughnecks is Saturday night against the Colorado Mammoths in Denver.
