Manitoba Weather: The wind is picking up

Hold on to your hats as southeasterly winds will be strong and gusty Monday in Manitoba as far north as Flin Flon and as far east as northwestern Ontario.

Morning sunshine in Winnipeg will give way to cloudy conditions this afternoon. Today it will be cloudy, warm and windy in most of the south.

It will rain in the southern regions for the next two days. They may begin early this afternoon in the southwest.

There is also a chance of thunderstorms in Brandon and surrounding areas later this evening.

Any thunderstorms should miss the Dauphin, but the area will see 10-15mm of rain tonight.

Winnipeg has a chance of rain tonight.

Winnipeg will see rain on Tuesday, before dry, sunny weather returns on Wednesday and the rest of the week.
