Calgary weather: Rain and snow this week

March was an interesting month weather-wise, with the second snowiest March on record, with below-normal days.

The forecast for the first week of April is also interesting.

Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week. During the day, the wind blows, the sun is a little cloudy, the air temperature reaches 16 degrees.

A low pressure system will kick in on Wednesday and that will bring us rain. It will change to snow Wednesday night, which will continue through Thursday.

Thursday is a tough forecast as highs reach the freezing point, so we could transition into a rain/snow mix.

Five to 15 centimeters of snow and five to 10 millimeters of rain are possible with this system for Calgary overall.
