After the empty NDG building, the arson investigation went up in flames

Montreal police are investigating a Sunday morning fire at the vacant Notre Dame de Grace building as a possible arson.

Montreal firefighters responded to the call at 4:30 a.m. after a patrol officer spotted smoke coming from a three-story building on Robert Burns Street near Cote St. Luc Road.

The building was heavily damaged in the four-alarm fire. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters found several small fires in the building and suspected it was set on purpose.

The fire was extinguished at 14:25
