Police are investigating a car bombing on Montreal's South Shore

Police are investigating the explosion of a BMW in the parking lot of the Saint-Lambert Exo train station on Montreal's south shore.

Longueuil Police (SPAL) spokesman Francois Boucher said emergency services received a 911 call at 9:30 p.m. Friday that a car was on fire after the explosion.

After extinguishing the fire, investigators determined that the vehicle was stolen.

Police are investigating whether the fire is related to other incidents.

No one was injured in the fire.
