Several people have been arrested in connection with the theft of more than $20 million in gold from Toronto's Pearson Airport.

Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Durayappa announced Wednesday that several people have been arrested and charged in connection with last year's largest gold and cash heist at Canada's Toronto Pearson Airport. During the press conference, it was revealed that 6,600 gold bars weighing more than 400 kilograms and worth more than $20 million were stolen from Toronto Pearson International Airport, as well as $2.5 million in cash.
