Parts of Manitoba are under snow warnings

Parts of Manitoba are under snow warnings.

Environment Canada says Thompson, Nelson House, South Indian Lake, areas south of Lynn Lake, Flin Flon, Pass, Cross Lake, Jenpeg, Oxford House, Gillam and Shamattawa will get about 15 to 30 centimeters of snow.

Snow is expected to begin late Tuesday and continue through Friday, tapering off at various points through Wednesday and Thursday.

Areas south of Gillam and north of Lake Aral will see snow beginning Thursday.

Environment Canada says roads can be difficult to navigate at times due to reduced visibility and snow accumulation.

Conditions can be monitored on the Environment Canada website.
