No one was injured in the Burrows Central fire

No one was injured in the fire that broke out on Tuesday night.

Just before 11 p.m., Winnipeg Fire Paramedics responded to reports of a two-story house fire in the 500 block of Mountain Avenue.

Crews arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the building. Firefighters quickly entered the building and attacked the fire to contain the flames.

The fire was extinguished at 23:37

The home is vacant and closed after a previous fire on February 2, 2024.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
