After studying business administration at HEC Montréal, David Lavoie began his career in the graphic design sector and as a manager at L'Aparté café-theater.

• He then served as administrative director of Théâtre de la Pire Espéce and founded the Festival du Jamais Lou in 2000.
• He helped found the Theater Aux Ecuries in 2005 and served as its general manager.
• In 2013, he received the Sentinel Award from the Conseil québécois du théatre.
• In the same year, he was appointed deputy executive director of Festival TransAmériques, in 2014 its co-executive director and in 2021 its executive director. Over 10 years, he increased the event's budget from $3.3 million to $5.3 million.
• He is also involved with the Conseil Québécois du Théâtre, the Canadian Arts Summit, Ecocenot, Desjardins Culture, and the Partenariat du Quartier des spectacles.

• “David Lavoie is a visionary culture builder,” said Charles Millard, President and CEO of the Federation of Quebec Chambers of Commerce (FCCQ). “During this period of professional maturity, his many legacies to the cultural community bear witness to an extraordinary journey worthy of celebration.”
• The jury noted that he “ended his extraordinary career with new business models and the transition to environmentally friendly energy that left his mark on the cultural landscape.”

After receiving a double degree in science and dance from Segep St. Laurent College, followed by a preparatory course at the Verden Circus School and several years of self-study, Rosalie Beauchamp began her career as a circus performer, performing in North America and Europe. .

• In 2016, he became the founder and CEO of the circus cabaret show Le Monastère, which takes place inside the Anglican Church of Saint-Jacques. During this period, he quenched his thirst for learning and self-improvement with a lot of leadership and management support.
• Seven years later, he is currently the CEO of Le Monastère, Montreal's second largest circus company with a budget of $1.5 million.
