2024 Culture Management Awards for David Lavoie and Rosalie Beauchamp | News

David Lavoie (HEC Montréal, 1999), executive director of Festival TransAmériques, and Rosalie Beauchamp, founder and CEO of Le Monastère, won the Career and Young Culture Manager awards, respectively, as part of the 2024 Cultural Management Awards. Presentation by Carmel and Remy Marcoux Chair of Arts Management at HEC Montreal.

These features highlight the role of cultural managers and promote their achievements in society.

The panel of judges consisted of 6 people, except for the Department of Art and Culture.

About cultural management awards

The Career Award was established in 2011 and recognizes the outstanding contribution of a manager with at least 20 years of experience. Established in 2021, the “Young Culture Manager” award recognizes the first major achievement of a person with more than 5 years of work experience. These awards are presented at Soirée Horizons, a festival co-organized by the Carmel and Rémy Marcoux Chair of Arts Management, the Brigée d'Affaires de Arts Montreal (BAAM) and Montreal Culture.
