We officially got our first peak in the upcoming series Law and Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, Premieres February 22nd at 8pm ET on Citytv and can be streamed on Citytv+ (available through Prime Video).

The season consists of 10 one-hour episodes.

Following a specialized criminal investigation team, Detective Sergeants Henry Graff (Young) and Frankie Bateman (Munroe) investigate “high-profile” murders in Toronto.

The cases featured in the show are inspired by real-life Canadian investigations.

For example, in the trailer, you'll see a TV headline set to CityNews Toronto, which reads, “Screw the Mayor! Video of slain reporter Tatyana Wynn's report.” A specific reference to the late Rob Ford's crack video scandal when he was mayor of Toronto in 2013.

Tassie Cameron, who worked on shows like Very difficult situations, Mary kills people and Fresh blue, is a serial presenter. Filmmaker Holly Dale (Transplant, Mary Kills People, Law & Order SVU) director of the premiere series of the film series.
