Toronto police have laid 54 charges after a dramatic arrest in a carjacking case

Toronto police have announced 54 charges against three suspects after a carjacking investigation that ended with a dramatic arrest when several police cars were destroyed as the suspects attempted to flee.

More than $18,000 in Canadian currency and several handguns were seized during the investigation, police said.
