Police release details of Toronto carjacking investigation

Toronto police are set to release the results of their carjacking investigation this evening.

In a news release Tuesday, police said they had made several arrests in connection with the investigation, but released no other details.

Sup. Andy Singh 31 Division and Insp. Hold Up's Joseph Mathis provides more information at a news conference at Toronto police headquarters.

The press conference is expected to begin at 1 p.m. and will be streamed live on CTVNewsToronto.ca and the CTV News app.

Auto theft has been a growing problem in the Greater Toronto Area over the past few years, with police reporting an increase in violent incidents.
