Montreal has released a new single, “Rude Girl on Rotation,” off her new album. The lady in the chest. It follows the lead offering, Young Hearts Bleed Free. Check it out below.

Kevin Barnes said in a statement, “'Turning Rude Girl' was partially inspired by my move from Athens, GA to a new home in Vermont. “I used an open tuning on the guitar that Nick Drake used a lot in his jammers. The bassline comes out in the style of a late '60s West Coast rocker, with a “Poor Moon” influence of canned warmth. I wanted the song to be loose and understated. It took the least amount of time to write all the songs on the album. I hope you like it!”
