Fill up today: Gas prices are going up in Alberta tomorrow

If you've been thinking about filling up your car's gas tank, today might be the day to do it, because prices are going up tomorrow in Calgary and Edmonton.

Both regular and premium gasoline prices will rise by four cents per liter in Alberta's two largest cities on Wednesday, according to gas forecasting site Gas Wizard.

In Calgary, regular gas prices will increase from $1.58 to $1.62 per litre, while premium gas will increase from $1.82 to $1.86 per litre.

In Edmonton, the price of regular gasoline will increase from $1.56 to $1.60 per liter, and premium will increase from $1.78 to $1.82 per liter.

While we're not happy to see an uptick at the pumps, things could always be worse. Gas Wizard is predicting a slight increase in gas prices today to $2.13 a liter for our friends out west in Vancouver. Yes.
