'Extremely frustrating': Winnipeg business targets three breaches in six months

A Winnipeg business owner is upset that his sports memorabilia store has been broken into not once, not twice, but three times in the past six months.

The first demolition at Joe Daly's Sporting and Framing, on St Mary's Road and Essex Avenue, took place in October last year. Four months later, someone drove a car in front of the business and took away a large amount of goods.

This latest break-in happened Tuesday morning, and according to store owner Travis Daly, it was the most expensive.

“It's hard to run a business when thieves are constantly breaking in,” Travis said in a post on X. “Yes, we had another business. Very disappointing.”

Thieves made off with numerous autographed jerseys and blue heritage jerseys from Mark Scheifele and Connor Helleick. They also stole an autographed Barron Jersey, a Josh Allen Buffalo Bills Autographed Blue Jersey, an Emmitt Smith Autographed Jersey and several others.

Daly is asking Winnipeggers to keep an eye out for missing items and contact the store if they come across any.
