City of Calgary postpones street sweeping until Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the City of Calgary announces that some scheduled residential street sweeps have been postponed due to the ongoing snow event. Accumulations of snow and ice can cause problems for our sweeping equipment.

Scheduled sweeps in communities Citadel (West), Legacy, Coventry Hills (North and East sections) postponed today. Within these communities, there are days when unfinished streets are swept Moved to June 2024. Updated sweep schedules for affected communities will be posted within 24 hours at calgary.ca/sweep.

Scheduled cleanups continue as scheduled today in the communities of Rosedale, Crescent Heights Avenues, Castleridge (South), Westwinds, Capitol Hill, Rosemont, Southview, Woodbine, Meadowlark Park, Mayfair, and Belaire.

The city may also revisit snow-affected communities today to ensure that sweeps completed during the snowfall meet completion standards.

Citywide cleanup is expected to continue as scheduled on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Citizens can find out when their street will be swept by visiting Calgary.ca/sweep and by searching for an address or by subscribing to notifications. Weather-postponed sweeps are scheduled for June 2024. We encourage citizens to sign up for street sweep notices at Calgary.ca/sweep.
