Calgary police are investigating the shooting CTV News

A man was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition after the Wednesday morning shooting, police confirmed to CTV News.

At 7:00 a.m., a man was found with a gunshot wound near 64th Avenue and Center Street.

EMS transported the victim to Foothills Medical Center.

As of 7:30 a.m., police were unable to provide additional information, but were canvassing the area for witnesses.
