The Toronto Blue Jays have reinstated right-handed closer Jordan Romano and right-handed reliever Eric Swanson from the 15-day injured list for Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees.

Ont. Romano, of Markham, has been in the IL since March 25 with right elbow inflammation, while Swanson was listed that day with right wrist inflammation.

Both were with the team Tuesday after completing rehab assignments with Triple-A Buffalo.

Toronto assigned right-handed pitcher Nate Pearson to Triple-A and right-hander Mitch White to make room on the roster.

The Blue Jays are starting to get healthy after opening the season with several starters in the IL. Catcher Danny Jansen, who broke his right wrist on March 13, was rehabbed in Monday's series opener against New York.

Starting pitcher Alec Manoa (shoulder) is rehabbing. He is scheduled to have an off-season session in Toronto on Wednesday and play for Buffalo on Friday in Columbus.

The Blue Jays, who entered the game with a 9-8 record, were scheduled to finish their series with New York on Wednesday before beginning a seven-game road trip in San Diego on Friday.
