The OPP PGNG said the Service de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) assisted the Organized Crime Unit in a drug trafficking investigation that uncovered large amounts of cocaine allegedly transported in and around Toronto and Montreal.

PGNG executed two search warrants for a vehicle and a residence on Riedel Avenue – near Allen Street. and Eglinton Avenue W. – March 27 in Toronto.

The search yielded approximately 60 kilograms of cocaine, 13 kilograms of methamphetamine, 19 handguns, one assault rifle, 3,000 rounds of ammunition, 53 magazines, four drum magazines, and 66 Glock automatic switches (used to convert firearms). , three bulletproof vests and one ballistic helmet.

Bradley Nelson of Whitby was arrested in Toronto and charged with 68 weapons and drug charges.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Toronto on May 2.
