Winnipeg police are looking for a suspect in a February murder

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a murder that occurred in the city's West End earlier this year.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on February 25, officers responded to the area of ​​Maryland Street and Wellington Avenue where they found 26-year-old Kevin Delaney Flett suffering from serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died.

The homicide unit has now identified the suspect as 30-year-old Tyrone Custer Harper. Harper is wanted for 2nd degree murder.
