“Timmy?!” Canadians responded to Tim Hortons adding pizza to its menu

How about pizza with coffee and donuts?

Tim Hortons is rolling out flatbread pizzas nationwide starting Wednesday.

The Canadian coffee chain says it's a way to attract more customers during the day and evening hours. Chief Marketing Officer Hope Bagozzi believes the coffee company has room for expansion during this time.

Pizza flavors include everything from cheese, pepperoni, chicken parmesan and bacon.

The expansion follows a two-year bread pizza pilot previously tested at select restaurants in Calgary, Winnipeg and the GTA.

In response, some Canadians don't have high expectations for flatbread pizza.

“They can't toast a bagel properly and want to make a pizza?” said one X user.

“Can they make some nice coffee and donuts first?” said another user.

“Is that so Timmy?!” No thanks,” commented another user.
