Police have identified the victim in the Weston shooting, with no suspect information available

Toronto police have identified the victim of a broad daylight shooting in Weston Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to West Lawrence Avenue and Ralph Street just before 5 p.m. for a report of shots fired in the area.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect or suspects fled the scene and no suspect description has been released.

The victim has been identified as Mohamud Abdi Duale, 32, of Toronto.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or was driving in the area at the time and has surveillance footage is asked to contact police.
