Man arrested and charged after luring young boy to commit child pornography online: police

A Peterborough man has been convicted of sexually abusing a teenager.

According to police, a male suspect lured a 13-year-old boy over Snapchat and asked for their sexual images to create child pornography.

Tyler James Croft, 25, of Peterborough, was arrested and charged with soliciting a child under the age of 16 to commit child pornography. He was sent to court on bail.

Investigators believe there could be more victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Const.
