Lines and defense pairs in the morning skate – April 15

DETROIT – Lane Hutson will make his NHL debut Monday when the Canadiens face the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena.

“I feel good. I'm really excited. The guys here have been great and I'm just ready to go,” Hutson said after the morning skate. “Honestly, it's very surreal. Just to be here and to be with this group. It's amazing and I'm so happy.”

Hutson became the fourth Hab in the last four seasons to make his NHL debut that year out of college, following Cole Caufield (2021), Jordan Harris (2022) and Sean Farrell (2023).
