Additional casting for Ke Hui Quan's new film is underway in Winnipeg

If you've felt the allure of Hollywood and want to be in a big-budget movie, now's your time to shine.

Oscar winner Ke Hui Quan is currently filming a new movie in Winnipeg.

An action film called “With Love” tells the story of a realtor's past life as a mobster who chased him.

The film began production earlier this month and Kari Casting is currently looking for additional credits.

For now, extra casting director Kari Rieger says Winnipeggers are getting in the way.

“The response from the community to our recent casting calls was overwhelming, both in terms of applicants and stocks. Winnipeggers are excited about the possibilities,” Rieger said.

The company's latest casting call, posted on its Facebook page, said it was looking for non-union actors between the ages of 20 and 60 to play “drive-up neighbors” for the April 25 shoot.

Another post wants a “Caucasian male, 20-40 years old, dark brown hair…6'3-6'5”.

If you don't fit either warning, don't worry. More sending options are available.

“We will be shooting until May 21, and there will be a lot of casting in the next few days. We have dates coming up at the end of this month and early May, which will require a lot of extras on set,” Rieger said.

As for what other “types” the company is looking for, production is still shrouded in mystery.

“Unfortunately, we can't go into details yet because we're waiting for production approval,” Rieger said.
