Toronto Weather: A chance of showers and thunderstorms

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible in Toronto on Sunday.

A storm system currently moving across southern Ontario and parts of the Greater Toronto Area could bring up to 15 mm of rain to some areas, according to Environment Canada.

According to the National Weather Service, five to 10 millimeters of rain is possible in Toronto.

During the day, the chance of precipitation will decrease, and there will be cloud and fog. Winds are also expected to blow from the northwest at a speed of 20 km/h.

The city could see the return of the sun on Monday, when temperatures will rise to 15 degrees.
