Toronto Fire is searching for a person who may have drowned in Ashbridge Bay on Lake Ontario

Toronto Fire says it is searching for a possible drowning in Lake Ontario in the Ashbridge Bay area.

Emergency crews were called to the area around 6 p.m.

Firefighters say they are working with police to search for the body. Emergency personnel are also at the scene.
