July 2023: Sean Davidson is no longer with the company.

Shawn Davidson is the managing digital producer for CTVNewsToronto.ca, which covers local news in the Greater Toronto Area.

Prior to joining CTV News Toronto, Davidson was a senior digital producer and journalist for 9News Australia, working in the Melbourne newsroom. It has covered several major news stories, including the 2017 Melbourne van attack.

He lived in Australia for over three years before moving to Toronto in 2019.

He now divides his life between Vancouver and Toronto.

Davidson graduated from Ryerson University's radio and television program with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

He speaks English.
