Say What – “Play Our Game”

Ryan Huska on Zari's move to center:

“For me, for a young guy playing in the middle of the ice, if he can bring the heavy down in our zone, that's the biggest thing. Has hockey sense, so they can read where the next play is going, and Connor has a game where we know how he plays the game with and without the puck.' Because a lot of times they're an extension of their defenders, where they have to make sure they're ready to help and protect the front of our net, there's a lot of heavy hitters that have matured at this level for a young guy to learn how to use his body better, how to play low and I think Connor has done a really good job so far in the short time he's been there.”

On Mackenzie Vigar's development this season:

“For me, it's not just the points. I feel like he's done everything right all year, the competitive side as well. I think he's matured in his game on the ice. He's managing his emotions a little better than he used to, and I think that gives him his allowed him to take his game to another level where he's committed to doing whatever it takes to help this team win for us this year, and he's been a great player.”
