Motorcyclist killed in collision in Brampton

One person was killed in a collision between a motorist and a motorcyclist in Brampton Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened near Hurontario Street and Wanless Drive north of Sandalwood Park.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to the area just before 3 p.m

Police say an adult man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim, who was driving the motorcycle, later died.

The driver of the car remained at the scene.

The intersection of Hurontario and Wanless is closed and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

A large conflict bureau goes to the scene.
