Man hospitalized after stabbing on St. James Street: Winnipeg Police – Winnipeg

A man was hospitalized early Sunday morning after he was stabbed during a fight involving a group of people in a St. James Street parking lot, Winnipeg police said.

Police were called to the 1000 block. At around 12:10 p.m., St. James Street, they found a victim with “lower body injuries.”

“Urgent medical care was provided, a tourniquet was applied,” said the police report.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and later his condition is stable.

A second adult male was also injured and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
