Kinew leads a trade trip to the US

WINNIPEG – Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew will lead a delegation of industry, business and labor representatives to Washington on Monday.

His volunteer trade adviser, former prime minister Gary Doerr, who was Canada's ambassador to the United States from 2009 to 2016, is part of a three-day mission to secure and expand trade.

Companies here that employ people on both sides of the border are part of the journey.
