Kadri scored twice in the 3rd as the Flames pushed past the Coyotes

Kerfoot gave Arizona a 1-0 lead at 2:36 of the first period when a quick shot from inside the left circle beat a Wolf blocker.

Mathias McChelli made it 2-0 at 3:55 when he deflected in a rebound off Josh Brown's rebound.

Kuzmenko cut the deficit to 2-1 at 7:22 when he scored on a goal-line pass from Kadri into a virtually empty net.

Kuzmenko has 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in his last nine games and a team-leading 14 goals since being acquired from the Vancouver Canucks on Jan. 31.

“I think it's just a feeling of rejuvenation coming into a new team, trying to prove some doubters,” Kadri said. “I think that chip on your shoulder can motivate certain players. Playing with me, I just try to read him. He likes to talk, talk and make some plays. The things that get him in those situations, he's going to continue to have success.”

Matt Coronato tied the game at 2-2 at 9:42. He caught a McChelli pass at Calgary's blue line and rushed 2-on-1 with Ingram's glove.

Guenther gave Arizona a 3-2 lead at 17:54 with a one-timer from the right point on Sean Durzi's layup.

Zary tied the game at 3-3 at 9:07 of the second period with a one-timer from Dryden Hunt under the goal line.

Gunther gave the Coyotes a 4-3 lead over the sprawling Wolves with a one-timer at 15:14, and Josh Doan extended it to 5-3 with a shot over the right shoulder of the Wolves at 16:17.
