A raft rescued the occupants of a car in a ditch in North York

Toronto firefighters used an inflatable raft to rescue three people from a car that slid into a ditch in North York early Sunday morning.

According to Toronto Fire Services, the car went off the road in the area of ​​Highways 400 and 401 at 5 a.m. and was “partially submerged.”

Crews then used an inflatable boat to rescue the people, they said.

The circumstances leading up to the incident are still unknown and TFS has not released details on the injuries to the passengers.
